Free training courses for BIOVEGEN members with the OEPM on industrial property and patents

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and BIOVEGEN They collaborate to offer Platform members a catalog of free training courses. This initiative, included in the OEPM's 2026 Operational Plan, aims to aim To promote and facilitate the use of Intellectual Property (IP) services in the plant biotechnology sector. The program includes the participation of expert patent examiners and offers different options:

• Introductory sessions: 20-minute presentations on basic IP concepts.
• Monographic topics: 60-minute sessions on specific aspects of industrial protection.
• Search workshops: 120-minute practical sessions focused on the technical localization of patents.
