BIOVEGEN Report. Call for Public-Private Collaboration Projects 2025

On November 24, 2025, the State Investigation Agency (AEI) published the new call for Public-Private Partnership Projects 2025This is an initiative included in the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027 within the State Program for Transfer and Collaboration and the State Subprogram to promote Collaboration in and between the Public and Private Sectors.

Key aspects of the call:

• Total budget of 300 million euros: 100 million euros in grant and 200 million euros in loan.
• Minimum fundable budget: €350,000 per project (direct costs only)
• Grant from up to 100% for Public R&D Organizations and loans of up to 95% for private sector companies.
• Project duration: 3 years, starting in 2026.
• The 8 thematic priorities include: Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, climate and environment.
• Deadline for application: 09/01/2026 – 30/01/2026.
