Innovation Day, an event funded by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECyL) within the framework of the Training and Support Program for Business R&D&I «Centr@tec»

The aim of this event is to showcase the latest innovations in genomics applied to the agri-food sector. During this session, advances in next-generation sequencing techniques and their application in developing more sustainable, productive, and resilient crops will be addressed, focusing on the challenges posed by biotic and abiotic stress factors. The event will include technical presentations, case studies, and a roundtable discussion with experts, fostering connections between research, technology transfer, and the real needs of the agricultural sector.

It is aimed at companies in the agroforestry sector, agricultural technicians, R&D centers, cooperatives, sector associations, agrotechnological startups, universities and agents of the innovation ecosystem interested in agricultural sustainability, genetic improvement of crops and the application of genomic tools to face the current challenges of climate change and food security.
