BIOVEGEN participates in the Conference “Exploring Agro-Tech Opportunities: networking and collaboration between the United Kingdom and Spain”

On January 29, 2025, BIOVEGEN participated in the Conference “Exploring Agro-Tech Opportunities: UK-Spain networking and collaboration”, organized by the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Salamanca (IRNASA-CSIC), the British Embassy in Spain and the UK Agri-Tech Center. This meeting, focused on stimulating cooperation between agents in the agri-food sector in the United Kingdom and Spain, brought together key companies and institutions to promote innovation in the agrobiotechnology sector in both territories.

During the event, representatives from the UK Agri-Tech Centre and the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL) presented their capabilities and the opportunities they offer for the creation and consolidation of innovative companies. In addition, several companies and research centres from the United Kingdom presented their most recent experiences and initiatives in agro-biotechnological innovation.

The meeting concluded with previously scheduled bilateral meetings and a working lunch, which served to strengthen existing collaboration and explore new direct synergies between the entities of both countries.
