BIOVEGEN Report. Torres Quevedo Grants 2024

Yesterday the deadline for submitting applications for the Call for "Grants for Torres Quevedo Contracts 2024". This Call aims to promote the implementation of industrial research projects, experimental development or feasibility studies for which the Hiring people with a doctorate degree, in order to promote the professional career of research staff, as well as stimulate demand in the private sector of sufficiently prepared personnel to undertake R&D plans and projects, and to help consolidate recently created technology companies.

Key aspects of the call:

• Total budget of €20.1M (expandable up to an additional €6M) for the granting of subsidies
• Fundable annual limit per candidate: 56.000€
• Duration of aid:  3 years from the date of the granting resolution or the hiring of the doctor, if the latter is later
• Application deadline: 28 January 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
