The I GO SIMBIOLIVA Webinar was successfully held

On October 30th, the «I WEBINAR GO SIMBIOLIVA: new bio-technological solutions for a circular economy of alperujo», an event dedicated to the presentation of this innovative project that seeks to promote a strategy of Circular economy in the olive grove, focused on the management of the alperujo.

During this first webinar, which caught the attention of more than 70 professionals in the sector, the members of the Operational Group highlighted the main challenges facing the olive sector, such as climatic fluctuations, alternate cropping and intensive production, which cause significant fluctuations in olive oil and alperujo production. In this context, The members presented the objectives and key activities of the project, which will focus on developing an innovative and natural solution for the management of alperujo. Specifically, this innovative solution will combine physical-chemical processes with specific treatments with microorganisms, in order to obtain a biofertilizer that contributes to the protection of the soil and the strengthening of the resilience of the crops.

In addition, the event also featured the Participation of the Microclimatt Operational Group, a completed project that shares synergies with Simbioliva, particularly in relation to improving soil health through the development of alternative solutions to synthetic fertilizers.
