BIOVEGEN participates in the Interplatform Conference on May 26, 2023

On May 26, BIOVEGEN participated in the Interplatform Conference "Applications of the circular economy and the bioeconomy of cork in fishing and the protection of the marine environment", representing the Interplatform Circular Economy Group - GIEC.

In this conference, organized by the Spanish Technological Platform for Cork (PTEcor), the Spanish Technological Platform for Fisheries and Aquaculture (PTEPA) and the Technological Platform for the Protection of the Coast and the Marine Environment (PROTECMA), where the role of cork waste within the Circular Economy and Bioeconomy and its valorization as resources to be integrated into the fishing industry with the consequent reduction of the potential impact that the use of other materials may have on the marine and coastal environment and its biodiversity.
