IN-PERSON-VIRTUAL Session «SPAIN-USA: innovation and agricultural production, a window of opportunity»

April 28, 2022. Madrid (and virtual format)

The United States is one of the largest agricultural powers in the world, not only because of its production volume, but because of its great variety of products and its ability to maximize production per hectare in most crops, where the differences with Spain, in most crops, are notable. Within the United States, the Midwest stands out for its large expanses of soybeans and corn, and California for its great diversity and production of high value crops. The US can be a good reference for the agricultural sector in Spain, in two senses:

  • as destination market for advanced agricultural solutions developed in our country, directed towards a more sustainable agriculture
  • as model to adapt it to our local circumstances and be able to increase the production of agricultural farms in our country

In this session, which will be held simultaneously IN PERSON (Ferrer Salat Room. CEOE Headquarters. Calle Diego de León 50 -28006- Madrid) and VIRTUAL (via Zoom), we want to make the North American market and its technological demands better known, to enhance collaboration and business opportunities in the Spanish agrobiotechnology sector.
