BIOVEGEN attends the presentation of the ANOVE Report on the contributions of plant improvement in Spain
Last Wednesday, November 3, BIOVEGEN attended the presentation of the ANOVE Report prepared by the Institut Cerdá on the Contributions of plant improvement in Spain. The event, which took place at the NH Nacional Hotel in Madrid, began with a brief presentation by Julián Arnedo, president of ANOVE. Next, Miguel Hernández (Director of the Prospective Area) and Lluis Inglada (Director of the Territory Area) of the Cerdá Institute went on to present the results of the study. The report focuses on the analysis of the social, economic and environmental contribution of investment in plant improvement in Spain, specifically, since the last 30 years. After the presentation of the results, a round table moderated by Antonio Villarroel, General Director of ANOVE, took place, in which representatives of the plant breeding sector, the Administration and the industrial fabric participated.
