BIOVEGEN report. Call for ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MISSIONS 2021

Recently the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation has launched the new R&D Missions Program in Artificial Intelligence.

This program is equipped with €50 million and is part of the Digital Spain Agenda 2025 and the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy.

Aims to finance (with a high % subsidy) large projects, promoting collaboration between research organizations, large companies and SMEs around the use of artificial intelligence in sectors of great relevance and high capacity for disruption and impact.

One of these sectors is AGRI-FOOD: sustainable global agricultural industry with a neutral carbon footprint, using Artificial Intelligence, robotics and bioengineering to identify new methods of agricultural production, by 2050.
