BIOVEGEN participates in the CBGP forum on “New genome editing technologies: evolution and revolution”

BIOVEGEN has participated in the Forum on “New genome editing technologies: evolution and revolution” which took place on the 12th and whose objective was to debate the potential of genome editing technology and the different policies and legal scenarios for marketing products obtained through this technology. The meeting, organized by the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP), served to address the potential of new genetic improvement techniques, and in particular new genome editing technologies, on agriculture and biotechnology. In addition, the different scenarios for the commercialization of edited genome products were analyzed.
