{"id":6817,"date":"2020-06-25T11:31:40","date_gmt":"2020-06-25T11:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biovegen.org\/?p=6817"},"modified":"2020-06-25T11:34:13","modified_gmt":"2020-06-25T11:34:13","slug":"sequentia-biotech-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biovegen.org\/en\/members\/sequentia-biotech-2\/","title":{"rendered":"SEQUENTIA BIOTECH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are a bioinformatics company that offers services and technologies that help&nbsp;<strong>transform genomic data into knowledge<\/strong>&nbsp;in academic research, plant and animal breeding and biomedicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walter Sanseverino and Riccardo Aiese Cigliano, two Italian researchers with a real passion for genetics and omics sciences, founded Sequentia in 2013 as a spin-off of the Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG, CSIC-IRTA-UAB) in Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, our work is organized into four specialized divisions: Sequentia Green, Sequentia Health, Sequentia Research, and Sequentia Training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are located in the Scientific Research Park at the Universitat of Barcelona (UAB) Campus, an internationally recognized health and life sciences cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We collaborate with research centers, universities, and businesses in accordance with the following values:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Excellence<\/strong>: teamwork and scientific leadership in bioinformatics and big data.<\/li><li><strong>Quality Client Services<\/strong>: the experience and expertise of our scientists allows us to quickly identify each client&#039;s needs, personalize our service, and help the client reach their research objectives.
