Last March we informed you of the cancellation, until further notice, of the XV Meeting of Plant Molecular Biology (RBMP)<\/strong>, which was scheduled to take place from June 3 to 5, 2020 in Torremolinos, M\u00e1laga. The event, in which BIOVEGEN was going to organize the Session \u201cInnovative companies and R&D financing\u201d<\/strong>, had to be postponed as a result of the health crisis caused by COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, the Organizing Committee has published a statement informing that, due to the great uncertainty that still exists in relation to the health crisis, the in-person celebration of the event in 2020 is definitively canceled and moved to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the Organization also believes that it would be of great interest to the scientific community if there is not a 4-year gap without the RBMP. There are many pre- or post-doctoral researchers who may not have the option of presenting their work if this edition is completely cancelled. That is why the possibility of organizing a special online edition this year is being considered, which could take place in autumn (October or November). For this reason, a consultation is being carried out to confirm if this option is attractive and if it would be accepted. The registration price would obviously be adjusted to this format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
