BIOVEGEN participated last week in the first meeting of the MEICOM Project, which took place at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in Birmingham. The project, in which BIOVEGEN is involved as part of the Advisory Board, is aimed at improving the understanding of the control of meiotic recombination in plant crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting served to bring together all the members participating in the project, which has a network of European research groups with an excellent collaborative history and training networks.
