{"id":3821,"date":"2014-02-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-02-18T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biovegen.org\/?p=3821"},"modified":"2020-05-05T20:05:03","modified_gmt":"2020-05-05T20:05:03","slug":"biovegen-participa-en-el-foro-transfiere-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biovegen.org\/en\/noticias\/biovegen-participa-en-el-foro-transfiere-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"BIOVEGEN participates in the TRANSFIERE 2014 FORUM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 12, 2014, BIOVEGEN (Technological Platform for Plant Biotechnology) participated in the 3rd European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, Foro Transfere 2014, which took place on February 12 and 13, 2014 at the Palacio de Ferias and Malaga Congresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transfer is a space to promote transfer and cooperation between the scientific and business fields. This year it was attended by 1,500 professionals from the R&amp;D&amp;I environment, and more than 1,600 B2B meetings were held. It has brought together more than 250 research groups from 50 Spanish universities, 200 companies and more than 30 scientific and technological parks and centers, in addition to Technological Platforms and institutions such as the CDTI (Center for Industrial Technological Development), OEPM (Spanish Office of Patents and Trademarks), CSIC (Superior Council for Scientific Research), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"811\" height=\"230\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3824 lazyload\" sizes=\"(max-width: 811px) 100vw, 811px\" data-src=\"https:\/\/biovegen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/201401.jpg\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/biovegen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/201401.jpg 811w, https:\/\/biovegen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/201401-600x170.jpg 600w, https:\/\/biovegen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/201401-300x85.jpg 300w, https:\/\/biovegen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/201401-768x218.jpg 768w\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sectors represented in Transfer 2014:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Agri-food<\/li><li>Environment<\/li><li>Energy<\/li><li>Infrastructure and Transportation<\/li><li>Health<\/li><li>Information and Communication Technologies and Contents<\/li><li>Industry<\/li><li>Security and Defense<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As news regarding Transfer 2013, in which BIOVEGEN was also present, it is worth highlighting the so-called \u201cZone 3.14\u201d, a new space for microSMEs and entrepreneurs that offers a workshop to detect new business opportunities in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, a Round Table was held on the Recovery 2020 Project (\u201cDevelopment of innovative technologies for the modernization and valorization of Andalusian agricultural exploitation through Pre-Commercial Public Procurement\u201d), whose objective is to promote Andalusia&#039;s leadership in the agricultural sector. This project, promoted by the MINECO (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) and the CSIC, has a budget of \u20ac25M, and aims to transfer to companies the knowledge generated by the Andalusian centers of the CSIC in the agriculture and livestock sector.
