This biennial congress, sponsored by the Spanish and Portuguese Societies of Plant Physiology, is one of the main scientific meetings dedicated to the study of the functioning of plants in its basic and applied aspects that are held in the Iberian Peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BIOVEGEN&#039;s participation was framed in the debate table titled \u201cPerspectives in Training in Plant Physiology: University-Business Relationship\u201d, moderated by Manuel Pineda (University of C\u00f3rdoba) and in which the following also participated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mar\u00eda Dolores Rodr\u00edguez. <em>University of Salamanca<\/em><\/li><li>Mar\u00eda Isabel Trillas. <em>University of Barcelona.<\/em><\/li><li>Torben Jahrmann. <em>Fit\u00f3 Seeds (Barcelona)<\/em><\/li><li>Pedro Molina. <em>IdenBiotechnology (Navarra)<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The session analyzed new and potential areas of training for future professionals that are strategic for the industrial sector, and whether they are sufficiently represented in the training received by university students at different levels (bachelor&#039;s degree, master&#039;s degree, doctorate).
