Madrid, November 24, 2025. \u2013<\/strong> The GIEC 2025 Annual Conference was held on November 17, 2025, in the auditorium of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) in Madrid. The meeting, organized by the Circular Economy Interplatform Group (GIEC)<\/a>, brought together representatives from public administrations, companies, universities and technology centers to discuss the financing opportunities and advances in the circular economy<\/strong>, both at the national and European levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The day was opened by Vicente Sales Viv\u00f3 (PTFOR), <\/strong>representing the GIEC, accompanied by the moderator Bel\u00e9n Garc\u00eda,<\/strong> director of PACKNET<\/strong>, who highlighted the role of cross-platform cooperation as a driving force for advancing industrial sustainability.
He first block<\/strong>dedicated to the 2025 public-private call for proposals from the State Research Agency<\/strong>It featured the participation of M\u00aa \u00c1ngeles Ferre<\/strong>, head of the Scientific-Technical Thematic Programs Subdivision, who presented the key aspects of the new framework for R&D&I collaboration funding. Following this, Carmen Mart\u00ednez Garc\u00eda <\/strong>and M\u00aa Teresa Cotes Palomino<\/strong>, from the University of Ja\u00e9n, presented the project GREENCDWaste,<\/strong> focused on the transformation of cork and construction and demolition waste into high value-added green materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the coffee break, the second block<\/strong> It focused on funding opportunities within the framework of Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI),<\/strong> with the participation of Maria Jose Tomas,<\/strong> from the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation.
