Specifically, this innovative project, with its focus on the biofunctionalization of strategic crops such as corn, tomatoes, and olives through the incorporation of essential micro- and macronutrients, was positioned as a clear example of a project aligned with the AGRO4FOOD objectives, which focus on promoting more sustainable, healthy, and technologically advanced agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, also <strong>Representatives of other agri-food projects intervened<\/strong> who shared scientific and technological advances in key areas such as genetic improvement and the recovery of agro-food waste. All of this in a <strong>collaborative environment between CSIC centers, interdisciplinary platforms and other sector agents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GO BIODIF&#039;s participation in this event reinforced the role of PTIs as tools for transferring scientific knowledge to the agri-food sector, promoting innovative solutions to the sector&#039;s current challenges.
