On November 11, 2024, BIOVEGEN organized the round table "Impact of biotechnology on the environment and agriculture, the challenge of communicating\u00bb<\/strong>, which took place within the framework of the 10th BIOCOMUNICA Congress, held at the National Center for Biotechnology (CNB-CSIC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session organized by BIOVEGEN brought together More than 45 professionals from the sector<\/strong> and was attended by representatives of the CNB-CSIC, Generandi, Algaenergy and Isifarmer<\/strong>, who presented the benefits of their plant biotechnology innovation activities for environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, during the celebration of this round table, the participants held an interesting debate on the Importance of communication in the field of biotechnology<\/strong>, in a context marked by misinformation and hoaxes, despite the existence of various reliable and verified sources of information that are available to the final consumer. Precisely in this line, the participants stressed the need to strengthen the communication strategies<\/strong> to make known the benefits of biotechnology applied to agriculture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
