On June 7 and 8, the third edition of the International Microbiome Congress<\/strong><\/a>, consolidated as a space for knowledge transfer in the use of microorganisms applied to agriculture. In addition, this edition had a third day of Congress that was held on June 9 in virtual format. The objective of the congress, held on this occasion in the V\u00edctor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia, is to promote connections between producers, industry, technicians, researchers and administration officials specialized in plant biology and biotechnology applied to the agri-food sector, as well as to put into practice highlight the particularities of this new area of development for present and future agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This third edition had more than 1,000 in-person and 500 virtual professionals from 32 nationalities. In this context, BIOVEGEN was present at the Congress and took advantage of all the attendance to officially present the project, in addition to promoting it with the distribution of pamphlets and the exhibition of the roll-up.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FitoNet Operational Group, with a budget of 594,138.18 euros, is co-financed by the European Union to 80% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)<\/a> and 20% under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the managing authority in charge of applying the aid being the General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-Food Training (DGDRIFA).<\/p>\n\n\n
