The GIEC, made up of 28 Spanish Technology and Innovation platforms, organized this online event, which had more than 150 attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 15, the Circular Economy Interplatform Group (GIEC) organized a webinar to disseminate the details of the Misiones 2022 Program to those interested, with the collaboration of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation. The Conference was inaugurated by Cristina Gonz\u00e1lez (GIEC Promoter Group, SusChem-Spain) and the presentation of the Call was carried out by Mar\u00eda Pilar Gonz\u00e1lez, Head of the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation of the CDTI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Gonz\u00e1lez commented that the Missions are competitive projects, led by companies that pursue relevant research that proposes solutions to transversal and strategic challenges of Spanish society, improve the knowledge and technology base on which Spanish companies rely. to compete, while stimulating public-private cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was divided into two parts; the first, referring to providing information about the circular economy within the Program and the second, moderated by Eduardo Cotillas (GIEC Promoter Group, Food4Life Spain), an exhibition of several project ideas in search of partners with the aim of submitting to the call detailing the general idea of the project, its current situation and consortium formation, as well as the type of partners needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first part, important dates were reported, such as the closing date for sending project applications and accompanying documentation (September 5, 2022 at 12:00), the start dates of the projects (start on November 1 2022 and end date on December 31, 2024 or June 31, 2025), as well as the need to prepare 2 reports, one referring to the project and the second, referring to compliance with the Principle of Not Causing Significant Harm ( DNSH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, they answered questions from the attendees, where those interested were reminded that the minimum budget per company is 175,000 euros, that the same company can be in several consortia, that dissemination expenses are not included or that a foundation is not included. is for profit would not enter the Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second part, presentations of five project ideas were made, where presentations could be seen under the title \u201cRecycling CO2 into fuel from the University of Zaragoza\u201d, \u201cElimination of inhibitors in the production of second generation bioethanol by biological means from the University of Extremadura\u201d, \u201cApplication of Neuro-Quantum computing to electrical storage from RQuan Tech Sari\u201d and \u201cDevelopment of Recyclable and Sustainable Composite Materials from the University
