Agricultural engineer by training<\/strong> (Polytechnic University of Madrid). Most of his post-graduate training is in relation to the environment. He approved the oppositions of the Higher Corps of State Agronomists in 2002<\/strong> and has worked in the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA currently) from that date until 2019.<\/strong> Since starting at MAPA, he has worked in the area of agricultural mechanization, and from June 1, 2011 to July 31, 2019, he has held the position of Director of the Agricultural Mechanics Station\/ General Subdirectorate of Agricultural Means of Production and Spanish Office of Plant Varieties\/ DG of Agricultural Productions and Markets\/ Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.<\/strong> From the August 1, 2019 to date, she is Coordinator of the Support Unit of the Directorate of the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is an Agricultural Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialized in food industries. Since January 2007, he has worked for the European Programs Division of the CDTI as the Spanish Delegate for \u201cBioeconomy\u201d in the 7th Framework Program (2007-2013) and H2020 (as of 2014). He already represents Spain in the preparations for Cluster 6 of Horizon Europe (Bioeconomy and Environment). He also represented Spain in the BioBased Industries Joint Undertaking from 2014 to 2018, where he also chaired the Representative Group of States. Previously, Jos\u00e9 Manuel GONZALEZ worked for more than 6 years as a project manager for CGI, SA, a consulting firm specialized in agri-food industries. In his last year, he was part of the Board of Directors. During 2014 and 2015 he worked on the development of the Spanish Bioeconomy Strategy, and is currently a member of the Bioeconomy Observatory in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Francisco Espinosa is the Research Director of Seipasa. He has a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia (Spain) and has extensive experience of more than 16 years in the company. Espinosa is a specialist in the formulation of biopesticides and biostimulants from substances of botanical and microbiological origin. Their work allowed Seipasa to develop three new patents for products Pirecris (ES2444991A1), Fungisei (ES2520615B2) and Gemsei (ES2671566B2). Recently SEIPASA won the prestigious 2020 National Innovation Award in the SME category by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
