What is an Operational Group?<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An Operational Group (OG) is a group of actors with different profiles, such as farmers, researchers, universities, etc. to be able to jointly address a specific problem or opportunity from a multi-sector approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BIODIF Operational Group<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This project aims at biofunctionalization with essential micro\/macroelements of three strategic national crops used as food matrices (tomato, corn and olive) for the production of table olives and oil, through the application of nanotechnology (nanofertilizers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals<\/mark><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Select the most interesting nutrients and bioactive compounds from the nutritional and health perspective and establish their analysis methodology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • To characterize the impact of biofunctionalization on the agronomic, organoleptic and nutritional properties of commercial and traditional varieties of tomato, corn and olive in different environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Evaluate the feasibility of nutritional claims\/labeling and health properties on crops of interest and certification\/s of Good Circular Economy Practices (BPEC)\/Sustainable Agriculture. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Analyze the implications for the management of agri-food companies of the incorporation of biofunctionalized foods into the market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The BIODIF Operational Group is composed of 8 entities<\/strong> who participate in different categories to achieve the development of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
