Malaga<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit will hold its second call on June 20 and 21 after the success achieved in 2018 that brought together more than 1,200 professionals including entrepreneurs, investors, startups, companies and institutions linked to innovation and digitalization of the agri-food sector from from 19 different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will have a specialized content program to advance trends around large areas of work such as food safety, opportunities derived from disruptive technologies -blockchain, big data or robotics-, the exploration of new businesses or environmental development and the circular economy, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main keys of the Startup Europe Smart Agrifood Summit is to promote the creation of links between companies, universities, startups and investors with potential collaborators and European and Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems, with the aim of generating business and networking opportunities. In this way, in 2018 it favored the holding of more than a thousand work meetings and enabled a business volume of more than 200 million euros.
