Bioinformatics Barcelona (BIB)<\/strong> and the Center for Research in Agrigenomics (CRAG)<\/strong> They are organizing the II BIB Forum: \u201cBioinformatics and data science for the agriculture of the future\u201d, which will take place next November 13, 2024<\/strong>, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., in the CRAG Auditorium<\/strong>, located at C\/Vall Moronta, UAB Campus, Cerdanyola del Vall\u00e8s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faced with the global challenge of exponential population growth predicted for the coming years, it is crucial to ensure adequate food for all inhabitants, while promoting environmental sustainability. In this context, bioinformatics and data science play an essential role, from research for crop improvement to the integration, analysis and exploitation of data generated at each stage of the agri-food chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, this forum will address some of the most relevant and current issues, with the aim of highlighting the impact and importance of bioinformatics and data science for the agri-food industry of the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
