BIOVEGEN participates in the “Conference: PERTE AGRO-FOOD Axis 3 R&D”

BIOVEGEN participated last Wednesday in the “PERTE AGRO-FOOD Axis 3 R&D” Conference organized by the National Agri-Food Technology Center of Extremadura (CTAEX). The meeting was dedicated to presenting the news of "Axis 3 R&D" of this strategic project that was approved on February 8. The pERTE AGRI-FOOD Its objective is the recovery and economic transformation of the agricultural, livestock and fishing sector, and mainly involves producers, the agri-food industry and the distribution sector. This PERTE includes a set of aid with a total allocation of 1,002 million euros, coming from the NEXT GENERATION EU funds. The aid contained in the PERTE AGRO is structured into 3 axes:

  • Axis 1: Industrial strengthening of the agri-food sector, managed by MINCOTUR, and which will have a budget of 400 million euros;
  • Axis 2: Digitalization of the agri-food sector, which includes aid lines that will be managed from MAPA, or from MINECO, or ENISA. The total provision for this axis will be 454.35 million euros;
  • Axis 3: R&D&i in the agri-food field, managed by the MAPA and the MICIN, and which has a budget of 148.56 million euros.
