New BIOVEGEN partner: HUDSON RIVER BIOTECHNOLOGY

A new entity has joined BIOVEGEN as a partner. HUDSON RIVER TECHNOLOGY (HRB) is a highly innovative agrobiotech company located in Wageningen (Netherlands). The company focuses on improving the productivity and quality of crops, addressing the increase in global demand for foods and natural ingredients. This crop optimization is developed through genetic editing, thereby increasing yield and improving disease resistance and nutritional value. To this end, the company uses the latest genetic techniques, including CRISPR and SuRE, its own platform for identifying targets of interest.

HRB has an internal R&D line dedicated to the development of platform technologies and varieties with new traits. To this end, the company acts as a technology provider and co-development partner for breeders and seed companies related to the food, ornamental and ingredient industries.
